Comfort, Peace, and Joy!

Who wouldn’t want this for our lives, or even for the lives of our family and friends?

We try to find them in all kinds of things – earthly success, relationships, entertainment, and more.  And to be sure, those things can bring some temporary measure of comfort, peace, and joy.  But it’s not the real, permanent thing that our souls seek!  It’s like a copy of a copy of a copy.  It’s like seeing it through cloudy glass – we can make out the image, but not clearly.

Jesus, was born in a lowly manger, lived a sinless and incredible short life on earth, was crucified and then raised again, all so we can have the real thing – true and lasting comfort, peace, and joy.  And all of that by simply accepting Him as the gift He intended.  Just like the Christmas presents we give and receive at Christmas – not because we had to earn them, but because they are gifts given through love.

Here’s praying you embrace Christ’s message and purpose in this life and forever. Comfort, Peace, and Joy to you and your family.
